Land data management by code to each land parcel
Ministries and branches research and share land and population data in the direction of uniform code management for each land parcel. That is the request of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam related to the implementation of the project to develop the application of population data, identification and electronic authentication for national digital transformation in the period 2022-2025 with vision to 2030.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Public Security in, researching solutions to share data between the Land Database and the National Population Database according to directing uniform code management to each land parcel, and at the same time speeding up the provision of online public services on land according to the requirements of the project.
Previously, in order to contribute to reforming administrative procedures and increasing transparency in land management, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment urged localities to soon put the land database system into operation.
Building a land database plays an important role in improving the business environment, enhancing national competitiveness, towards digital government, digital economy and digital society.
According to the report of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, up to now, the construction of the basic cadastral database has been completed on 43 million land plots with over 22 million records and put into operation, management, exploitation and use in the system of the Land Registry Office; 61/63 provinces and cities have paid for land administrative obligations through the National Public Service Portal; 21/63 provinces and cities have implemented tax linkages./.
